We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.
What information do we collect?
When you order we need to know your name, e-mail address, delivery address, phone number and credit/debit card number and expiry date (Via PAYPAL). This allows us to process and fulfil your order, carry out credit checking and notify you of your order status. We also ask you for your telephone number(s) so that we can contact you easily if required. For credit purposes, before accepting or despatching your order we may use the information we have about you ourselves and/or carry out a search using a licensed credit reference agency, who will record it.
In addition we collect your email address and name if you wish to sign-up for the newsletter, and further details as you submit them for use on the site.
How do we use your information?
We may use other companies to provide services on our behalf, including packaging, mailing and delivering purchases, answering customers questions’ about products or services, sending postal mail and e-mails, analysing data and processing credit card payments. We will only provide those companies the information they need to deliver the service and they are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.
We may undertake a search with third-parties for the purposes of verifying your identity and the details you have submitted as part of your order. To do so these third-parties may check the details you supply against any particulars on any database (public or otherwise) to which they have access. They may also use your details in the future to assist other companies for verification purposes. A record of the search will be retained.
If you have opted to receive our newsletter then we may send you offers for goods or services from our company or others from time to time which we think you may find of interest. If you do not wish to receive this information, please let us know by e-mailing us at email@example.com, or by directly amending your account on the site, or by not ticking the opt-in box on our checkout page before submitting your order.
Your Right to Cancel
You have the right to cancel your contract with us at any time during the period which commences on the day we accept your order and ends on the expiry of seven working days beginning with the date of delivery of the products.
Please note that your right to cancel is subject to our Terms and Conditions, but that these do not affect your statutory rights.
You can return your purchase to The Pillar Box store at no charge. If you decide to return your purchase to our showroom, please bring details of your original order number, dispatch note and your credit/debit card details - card number and expiry date.
If you decide to use your local local Post Office, please ensure the Post Office provide you with a proof of posting.
Alternatively, you can contact us and we will arrange to collect your return.

You will receive a full refund of the purchase price and the delivery charge (all refunds via debit cards will be by cheque).
